Chicken George is an independent, family-run fried chicken brand founded in Luton in 1985. I grew up in the business, literally born above a fried chicken shop, before training and working in Michelin-starred restaurants, fine dining and corporate catering, then bringing that experience back to the family business.

Today, Chicken George is one of the UK’s most recognised independent fried chicken brands, combining proper chef-led food with fast, high-volume street-food service.

Our awards include Best Takeaway in Britain, the Game Changer Award, multiple Wing Fest / Wing Jam wins and Best Snack at the British Street Food Awards 2024 for Dad’s Nutty Malaysian Curry.
